A couple from the con *UPDATED*

So here's a couple of scans of pieces I did at the con, "convention sketches". I try not to do line art, but make things worth the time and money for everyone. The top one is a Maurice Noble-y western piece, then my tiger playing sax, the next one just a random creature, then a dog named Ninja and a cat named Pirate, the next is a SEVEN SAMURAI commission, third a WORLD'S FINEST, the bottom a BLACK WIDOW. Find me at a con and this is the level of "sketch" you get. More soon!

These "sketches" are completely amazing--as usual. Do you ever post on your process? I'd love to see how some of these come about. Admittedly, I watched briefly at the con as some of these were taking place, but I'd like to get a closer look...

Fantastic. Your confidence in busting these things out at (at a con especially) is so impressive. I guess these people really got their money's worth!

Very awesome Scott! I love these things, and plan on hitting you up at APE to see if you're doing them there. Did I ever give you a copy of the Gwen you did for me at SPX 06?

I'm the lucky owner of the Seven Samurai piece. I finally read Barefoot Serpent and damn if it's not my favorite book in a long time. Confident linework, beautiful metaphors and a brilliant weave of Kurosawa themes and references in a touching little tale. Thanks a ton Scott!
